The results of several ESA projects running mobile satellite system activities relating to S-Band systems were presented. These projects included:
- J-ORTIGIA: “S-band satellite broadcasting experimentation campaign through W2A satellite”
- DENISE: “S-Band Interactive System Definition and Proof-of-Concept Demonstration”
- MiLADY: “Mobile satellite channeL with Angle DiversitY”
- CME: “Channel Measurement Equipment”
